The condition of the roads in Kolar is very poor,
hence, Municipal Council Kolar is planning to strengthen the road network. In
addition to it, Municipal Council Kolar has
 decided
that several roads are to be converted into dual
carriageways with provision of Central Verges, Street
Light, Signages and service roads. Because of water
logging problem, some roads are to be paved with concrete
pavements. For renewal of internal roads of Kolar, for
widening, concrete pavements, beautification of round-abouts,
slip & service roads and about 60 Nos. approved colonies
are there in Kolar where the road network is
negligible. Municipal Council Kolar is trying to bridge this gaps and is
mobilizing funds to meet these demands for road network.
